POLICE ENSURE SAFETY IN SCHOOLS

KGWEKGWE | Police in Tzaneen have on Friday paid a surprise visit to Kelekeshe secondary school at Kgwekgwe village in Bolobedu to conduct a random search.

During the search they have confiscated cellphones and earphones for safekeeping.

The search was led by Tzaneen Police Crime Prevention Commander, Lt col Randela NS accompanied by Social Crime Commander Capt Mogoboya SF , Relela Satellite Station Commander Warrant Officer Ngobeni GP, Warrant Officer Ngobeni W, Communications Officer Sgt Nkhwashu MM, School Safety Coordinator, Sgt Ndlovu CN and Crime Prevention members.

“After the search the learners were addressed about GBVF, choosing the right friend, career guidance, desist from drugs and alcohol abuse, participating in youth activities like sports, drama, choirs, arts and cultural activities and faith based youth structures”, said Tzaneen Police’ Spokesperson, Sgt Maurice Nkhwashu.
