POLICE AFTER THE TWO SUSPECTS WHO SHOT AND KILLED A 34-YEAR-OLD MAN

The Police in Letsitele outside Tzaneen have launched a manhunt for the suspects who shot and killed a 34-year-old man at point blank at a filing station next to Nwamitwa crossing yesterday.

According to the police, the deceased was allegedly driving a vehicle in the company of the other three men and when he stopped at the local filling station, a white Mazda2, with a registration numbers YVP 854 GP and two occupants arrived.

“They then started shooting at the deceased several times and sped off. He died instantly”, said the Limpopo Police’ Spokesperson, Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo.

He further said, the police were notified about the incident and on arrival at the scene, together with emergency personnel, the victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds. He was certified dead and was identified as Difference Khosa residing at Mavele village.

“The deceased was reportedly coming from Mavele village. The motive for the killing is unknown at this stage and anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of the suspects is requested to contact Colonel Cecil Machimani on 082 451 7181 or Sergeant Mokako Maake on 072 917 2425 or the Crime Stop number 0860010111”, he concluded.
