GLM MAYOR HANDS OVER SKIP BINS TO MAMAILA MALL

MAMAILA MALL | The Mayor of Greater Letaba Municipality, Dagma Mamanyoha has on Wednesday handed over three skip bins to Mamaila Mall in Sekgosese.

When handing over the skip bins, Mayor Mamanyoha indicated that this will help to avoid overflow of wastes.

“This is the reason why we said how can we contribute as the Municipality either by extending a hand in terms of making sure that this Mall becomes one that people will be able to acknowledge that it offers them services that they are unable to get anywhere in the Greater Letaba Municipality. Therefore, we said part of the program to start with is for Municipality to procure skip bins so that the tenants and beneficiaries can be able to utilize”, said Mayor Mamanyoha.

Mamaila Mall was using two skip bins all along and will now have a total of 5 skip bins.

“We are very happy for the good gestures by Greater Letaba Municipality. We have been looking forward to have more than three skip bins at the mall and we are very proud that the Municipality has delivered. The shops will responsibly make use of skip bins to ensure that our Mall stay clean”, said the Developer, John Michelle of GMI Property Group who further took the opportunity to announce that Mamaila Mall will be a year older next month [October].

Mamaila Mall was officially opened last year on the 28th of October.
