GENERAL MANIZO REMANDED IN CUSTODY

BOLOBEDU – The popular musician from Bolobedu whose real names are Thabo Silver Makgola(34) better known as General Manizo appeared in the Bolobedu Magistrate Court yesterday and was remanded in custody.

According to Police reports General Manizo was arrested early this week at Mohlakamosoma village in Bolobedu where he was allegedly found hiding at his aunt’s place.

His arrest is allegedly in connection with the murder of the 23-year-old woman, Kgaogelo Maake from Mamotintane who was killed in March 2022.

“A group of people were reportedly drinking in one of the houses at Morutji village in Bolobedu on the 1st of March 2022 when one of the men allegedly shot the victim. She was taken to hospital where she died on arrival”, said Limpopo Police’ Spokesperson, Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo .

The Police’s investigation further led to the arrest of two women and a man named by the police as Sandra Sondlane (22), Sylvia Tepanyeka (44) and Fortune Sondlane (22) for allegedly defeating the end of justice after they allegedly took the main suspect’s firearm and went to conceal at Relela village under Tzaneen policing area. The said firearms was recovered with serial numbers filed off.

However, the all three were given R500-00 bail yesterday and will reappear in court on the 23rd of June 2022.

“The team went on to arrest two more suspects whom are said to be the companions of the arrested artist and recovered two firearms with serial numbers also filed off”, said Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo early this week.

The two, named by the Police as Buster Thusa Rampya (30) and Laughter Makgobatlou (38) have been charged with possession of unlicensed firearms.

General Manizo, Laughter Makgobatlou and Buster Thuso Rampya were remanded in custody and will reappear in the Bolobedu Magistrate Court on Monday, the 23rd of May 2022.

The manager of Bad Company Crew better know as Zimba Wa Bolobedu has yesterday released a statement confirming the arrest of General Manizo and further apologized to the fans.

“We Apologized to the fans of bad company for not answering any of the questions you always ask in my inbox and comment section. Let’s leave everything in the hands of the Law and reliable Media reports”, wrote Zimba Wa Bolobedu on Facebook.

He further emphasized that he manage the brand and music product not the behavior or lifestyle of his clients and therefore cannot control what artist do in their own time.

“As the manager and Bolo house music promoter I’m against Crime and my boys know as I always tell them. Bad company will continue giving you the best performance as usual like now we have been going all over the past 3 months without Nizo. Bad company will continue to Give you hits by Small T, The punisher, Hlatse boy , Sam Sokol and Small Beast and Other members”, he promised.
