A MANHUNT IS UNDERWAY FOR SUSPECTS INVOLVED IN A MURDER OF A 35-YEAR -OLD MAN IN ITIELENG VILLAGE, SEKGOSESE

The police in Sekgosese have launched a manhunt for suspects following the death of a 35-year-old man at Itereleng village on Saturday, 22 June 2024 at about 20:20.

The victim was reportedly with the group of initiation school attendees who went to switch off the music being played within the vicinity.

“Later on , it appears that there was a confrontation between the two groups, and the victim was struck in the head by an unknown suspect using a blunt object. Emergency medical services personnel were summoned to the scene. The victim was certified dead on the scene”, said Colonel Malesela Ledwaba of Limpopo Police.

The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has expressed shock over the horrific attack that took someone ‘s life. She instructed Police to launch a search for the suspect to be apprehended and face the full might of the law.
